You may use the templates within your business, for promotional purposes. For example on your website, social media accounts, in-salon displays. Any way that is not restricted (see restricted use below).

There is no end date on your rights to use the images, captions or templates you have downloaded.

Access to the 'Become Your Own Designer' Facebook group is for one member only. If you require additional access for members of your team, please purchase a separate membership.

All templates and resources provided within the membership portal, Facebook group or email correspondence are for single use only. NONE of the templates, captions, images, graphics, gifs or mp4's may be duplicated, resold, loaned or given away. 

Sharing login information, links or transferring any of the templates, images, gifs or mp4's to a third party is prohibited.

You may edit the copy, colours, fonts and images within the designs, in fact we encourage it. This does not constitute a new design and may not be duplicated, resized and used in a different format than originally provided, sold, loaned or transferred to a third party*. 

You may not falsely represent that you, or someone else, is the original creator of the images.

You may not use the images or templates in an illegal, offensive or pornographic manner.

PLEASE NOTE: The Brand Method will do it's best to use as many FREE - 'Creative Commons' images within the designs and templates. Where this is not possible, templates will display an image with a watermark. These images are for display purposes only. You may not in any circumstance use the watermarked images unless you hold a licence for the image. 

If you would like to use the same image, links to the image will be provided. If you do not wish to use the image, swap it for an image for your own, or another (with a creative commons licence), or from Canva's library. 

If there is no watermark - go for it! You are free to use the image within your design.

Nothing contained in this Agreement, in the Members area, membership correspondence or Facebook group shall be interpreted as granting, by implication or otherwise, any licence or right to use any Trademark or other intellectual property without the express written consent of the Company or third party owner.

If You exceed the scope of this license, as determined by a legal authority such as a court of law, You have committed infringement in a manner that materially harms Us, and We have the right to seek damages and/or an injunction to remedy the situation until We are made whole.

If you participate in any live streaming activities with The Brand Method through third-party providers, you are providing your consent for The Brand Method to record and reuse the live streaming material at it's sole discretion, including but not limited to, educational and marketing purposes, recorded videos (paid and unpaid), blog posts, and any other form of audiovisual currently in operation, (or yet to reach the market).

In no way is The Brand Method obligated to notify or compensate you for any portion of a comment, image, social proof, that you provide as part of your voluntary participation in live streaming platforms, or within the Facebook group.

By accepting these terms of use, you consent to recordings being made of the program and your participation in it.

The Brand Method reserves the right to use, at its sole discretion, the following: program materials, videos, audio recordings, and materials submitted by you (in the context of the program); for future lecture, teaching, and marketing material, and any other further goods/services provided by The Brand Method, without compensation to you.

You consent to your name, voice, comments and likeness being used by The Brand Method for future lecture, teaching, and marketing material, and any other further goods/services provided by The Brand Method, without compensation to you.

By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree to recurring billing for the membership plan and amount you selected. All monthly and annual plans are auto-billed on a recurring basis according to your payment schedule. Refunds will NOT be given in the event that you do not cancel your membership before your renewal date. If you would like to prevent auto-rebilling, you can cancel your current membership plan at any time. You will continue to have membership access until the end of your current plan, but you will not be re-billed at the end of the term. 

 If you subscribe to the Become Your Own Designer membership, you can cancel at any time (except if you have purchased as part of our Black Friday 2022 sale - see below for cancellation details).

However you must cancel your subscription prior to the auto-rebilling date. If you cancel before the end of your membership term, you will not receive a pro-rated refund however you will continue to have access to the member area until the end of the term. 

Refunds will not be given in the event that you do not cancel your membership prior to your renewal date.  

All cancellation requests must be emailed to hello@thebrandmethod.com and with the subject line "Cancellation of Become Your Own Designer Membership".

If purchasing during our BLACK FRIDAY special, please be aware of the following:

1) You are committing to a 12-month membership, at this significantly reduced price. You may not cancel your membership prior to the end of this 12-month period.

2) There is a 30-day no-payment period applied to your membership payment, as the membership officially kicks off in January 2023. Your first payment will be charged on January 1st, 2023.

3) After your initial 12-month membership, your membership fees will increase to the current membership price at time of renewal.

4) If you would like to prevent auto-rebilling, after your initial 12-months, you must cancel your current membership plan prior to the membership renewal date. If you choose to continue to be part of the Become Your Own Designer membership program, your membership will renew on a monthly basis. And you can then cancel at anytime prior to your billing date.

Due to their digital nature, all products are non-refundable and non-returnable, with no exceptions.
